Problem and Solution:
This eLearning experience addresses a problem faced by GrowMore realty Inc. This company wants to increase its sales by leaps and bounds. They figure out that they can do it if they have more realtors working under one Broker of Record. They assign a team only for hiring realtors. This team is called Hiring Realtors Team. This team consists of some Broker of Records and some employees from HR. This team also has a manager to lead the team. The CEO of the company decides to train them in the process and go over what the company expects from new hires of realtors and the hiring team.
As a solution, this project consists of the preparations that are required in the process of hiring. This also consists of company expectations and guides them through scenarios that are anticipated to be faced by the hiring team.
Process
I created the learning experience by defining learning outcomes and objectives and designing the learning. I designed a detailed lesson plan and on the basis of that created a visual mock-up in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. I created a storyboard on MS word. This storyboard has all the details that a developer needs to build the end product.
Learning Outcomes and Objectives
I followed Bloom’s Taxonomy to determine my learning objectives. I first defined “The learning Goal”.
The learner will hire an effective team of realtors by explaining the benefits of joining the company
After reviewing the company goals, I created the following learning objectives.
Without any aid, the learner will connect with a realtor on phone and plan a meeting to the extent that:
Meeting will be for at least 30 minutes
Show around the office
Explain the benefits of joining the company with 100% accuracy
Design and Organization
I reviewed the company policies and the expectations they have from a new Real Estate Agent who joined the company. I created the learning objectives using the information. I also reviewed the company handbook.
This training prepares the learners the basic gestures and preparations for a meeting. They would be explained various tips and tricks that a person can use while making a phone call to a potential realtor. They will also be able to understand the preparations that they can do before they have a meeting with the realtor. The facilitator can demonstrate the same.
Further, they will be explained the steps they should be following during the meeting. During the meeting they should be professional. They will start with the achievements of the realtors. The work realtors are performing and make a judgement on how they can be a great fit for the company. They will show them the office and explain to them the benefits they will receive as realtors from the company.
