Problem and Solution:

This eLearning experience addresses a problem faced by the customers of ‘The MakeUp Store’. This company wants to create a better customer experience at their store. They realized that maximum customers face trouble selecting the right makeup products according to their skin. They wanted their customers to be well-informed about the shades of the foundations they choose.

As a solution, this project consists of a quiz that made the clients aware of their skin and the right color of the foundation they can choose. This quiz will be on their website for the customers to use at home and at a kiosk at the store.

Process

I created the learning experience by defining learning outcomes and objectives and designing the learning. I designed a detailed lesson plan and on the basis of that created a visual mock-up in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. I created a storyboard on MS word. This storyboard has all the details that a developer needs to build the end product.

Design and Organization

I thought of this quiz to be a tool for the clients of ‘The MakeUp Store’ to be aware of their skin type and the requirement of their skin. I kept in mind that this quiz will not only benefit the customers but also the store to increase their sales.

The customers will increase their faith in the company if the product they purchase after attempting the quiz. They will be confident that this company knows them well and can provide them with the best skin solution.
